3d printed cabs from retro to modern

we use latest technology printers to print a range of 1/14 scale cabs for fitting to the standard tamiya chassis.

the parts are printed in a flat packed format to get the best quality prints possible on fdm printers and are then glued together using superglue ,all the cabs we do have been fitted to a chassis and we include the mounts for mounting to the chassis using existing holes were possible or with a supplied drill jig , we use a acetate film for the windows and have designed windscreen surround for some of the cabs to make the job easier we glue this using glass and glaze glue .

although the cabs come in a kit form we usually have some cabs with the main shell glued up please contact us for details.

we prefer a removable roof on our trucks for access although this can be glued in place if you prefer.

we find the best way to finish is a couple of coats of high build primer then sanded with 500 grit sandpaper ,we then put a coat of base paint colour on to show any imperfections then re sand these areas

the trucks in these picture have had just 1 coat of plain grey primer

volvo f88 nice and easy to build as it has locators on, parts comes with cab interior in right hand drive, has a full set of window templates and it comes with the cab mounts to mount to Tamiya chassis.
